One of our July pupils, Alan Carrigan, has written a report on the July summer school:

Sadly we mark the end of another Great July Summer School Group.

It was great to catch up with old friends and new ones. Together we had great fun along with some exercises and stretching thanks to Angelica and Ester. We also had great fun playing different games as a group and overall bonding and sometimes beating each other. I hope however some of the helpers use the month of August to brush up on their Connect 4 skills for next Year πŸ™‚ I’d hate to have to beat them all over again next Year – just saying πŸ™‚

We went on a lot of fun tours which included the usual Sailing with Sailability, Ice skating & Bowling in Dundonald, a disco at the sailing club and also some new outings like a trip to the Titanic Quarter to visit The Race To The End of The Earth(Which was really good). We did some other activities during the day like life skills, baking and even Drumming which was good fun. We even had a visit from an Ice Cream Van and Joanne came to read some fun books from the Library.

Overall this has been another great year and I look forward to many more in the future.

Thanks to everyone Helpers, Conductors, Joan, Carol, Parents, and Students.

See You all in 2017.

Alan Carrigan.
